Bullet Monday

A few updates… :)

  • I have been working CONSTANTLY.  My projects are stacking up everyday and the juggling act is becoming difficult.  But I love the challenge and I love being busy.  It makes the day seem to fly by and I enjoy that fire lit under me.
  • Holly and I are planning to start trying to conceive again in June.  We are working to get our finances in order so we’re not struggling to purchase vials of sperm every month.  We figure, if we can’t afford the sperm, then we won’t be able to afford a baby.  So when we are financially able to afford sperm, we’ll begin the TTC process again.  Holly will be the one to try first.  If we are unsuccessful after two attempts, things will switch over to me.  I will try twice and then switch back over to Holly – and so on.
  • We just booked our vacation for 4th of July week.  We will be spending the week at the beach in a beautiful beachfront villa.  It’s the same villa, on the same beach where Holly and I were married.  The villa sleeps 7, so we plan to have our friends over for a few nights to make it a “girls” weekend getaway.  I’m so looking forward to this – we really need the vacation!
  • Holly and I have been so busy lately with the gym, work, social gatherings, and family visits.  It was so nice to have a lazy day with her last Sunday.  We sat around the house and did absolutely nothing – except for enjoy each other.  It’s great that after 7 years, we can still get it on like that!  ;)

Here is a recent picture of us from Saturday night.  Still happy – still in love!

Happy Monday, Everyone!

And still absolutely beautiful! As for the cost of a baby, we’ve found that it was much LESS than we had prepared for, due to breastfeeding (and donated breast milk), cloth diapering and passing up a lot of the big name items most people HAVE to have! (She’s almost five months and STILL has not slept in her crib!) Besides, once you get pregnant, you have NINE MONTHS to buy things here and there. Check out my posts about what we can’t live without and what we can totally do without! They were posted last week, so you don’t have to dig back too far!

    Yay June!!

Good luck on TTC. Part of me still wishes we could but after E was diagnosed with BC she thought it better that we not.

    Good like with TTC again.
Having a good get away to relax is always fantastic. We had our babymoon last week and I wish we’d had a break earlier.
